How do I get involved?

Click on ‘VENDOR LOGIN’ in the footer of the website, under "QUICK LINKS" and sign up for an account. Follow the instructions below "Create Your Account" on this page to complete your account setup.

I’m not much of a techie

Call Carly Cooke at the Chamber. She’ll walk you through it.

I already have a website and even an online store.

Great! This is simply another tool in your tool box! Us this site as a promotional tool to drive traffic to your site 

I sell a service, not a product that you can put in a shopping cart.

How will people find out about Chamber Marketplace?

The Chamber has an existing site that attracts nearly the most visits in Nanaimo. We’ll also promote directly to our membership, business network, and engage in a high-profile digital and traditional media marketing campaign.

Create Your Account

  • Sign up for an account here.

  • Nanaimo Chamber will Moderate Vendor signups and you will receive an email if you are approved.

 

Set Up Your Shop

Login to your account if you are approved.

Add Your Store Pickup Location

  1. Navigate to CONFIGURATIONLOCATIONS

  2. Click ADD LOCATION button [top right]

  3. Enter required location information

  4. Click SAVE button

Set Up Curb-side Pickup

Navigate to CONFIGURATIONSHIPPING CONFIGURATION

 

  • Find the “Curbside Pickup” line item
  • Click  > Enable

     

    Navigate to CONFIGURATIONSTORE PICKUP CONFIGURATION

    Turn on “WANT STORE PICKUP” toggle


      CONFIGURE FOR

      • Set to ALL PRODUCTS

      CUSTOMER OPTION FOR PICKUP

      • Set to ONLY STORE PICKUP
        DEFAULT OPTION SELECTED FOR CUSTOMER
        • Set to STORE PICKUP

           

          USE LOCATION FOR PRODUCT

          • Turn on

            CLICK SAVE CHANGES BUTTONS

             

             

            Add Store Details

            Navigate to PROFILE > MY ACCOUNT

            Fill out all of the required information. Upload a Banner and Logo if you have them.

             

             

            Set Up Stripe Connect for Payments

            Navigate to Orders > Stripe Connect Config

             

            Click "Add Account to Stripe"

             

            Sign in to your Stripe account, or create a new one

             

            You will be redirected to your Seller Dashboard when it's connected.

             

             

              Add Products

              Navigate to PRODUCTSPRODUCTS LISTING

               

              Click ADD PRODUCT button

              Enter the relevant required product information

               

              Upload one or more PRODUCT IMAGES

               

              Select relevant COLLECTIONS where you want your product to appear

              SHIPPING DETAILS

              Set to the method(s) you would like to offer. Ensure that "REQUIRES SHIPPING" is selected, even if you are not shipping the item (this will ensure that if you do start offering delivery, you can collect a delivery fee for this item, if needed).

              If you choose DELIVERY or STORE PICKUP + DELIVERY

              • SHIPPING METHOD: Select Local Delivery Fee

              If you choose ONLY STORE PICKUP

              • SHIPPING METHOD: Select Curbside Pickup

              CLICK SAVE CHANGES BUTTON

                The product will be reviewed by the moderators and you will receive a notification if it is approved.

                 

                Fulfill Your Orders

                Navigate to ORDERSORDERS LISTING 

                 

                Find an unfulfilled order. Click  > View

                 

                Note Pickup/Delivery details

                • If “store_pickup: NO” then the customer needs the order to be delivered to their Shipping Address
                • Please contact the buyer directly to confirm and arrange DELIVERY

                   

                  Fulfill the Order

                  Click the FULFILL button under FULFILLMENT DETAILS.

                  Select LOCAL DELIVERY FEE for orders that are being DELIVERED

                  Select CURBSIDE PICKUP for orders that are being picked up.

                   

                  Click FULFILL button

                  The customer will then receive an email notification saying that their order is ready for PICKUP or DELIVERY.
